Meghan and Taylor flew out to the Tetons for their dream elopement in the Tetons. Grand Teton National Park is a place for all lovers to tie the knot, and it was the perfect backdrop for this celebration!!! Oh man, so many happy tears were shed. Under the banner of a double rainbow, these two ran around the mountains to the sound of my super 8 film camera.

Super 8 Film in Jackson Hole
Something that I deeply care about is the reflection of my couples in their films. When Meghan and Taylor and I got on our initial call, I asked them what they would like to see out of their own day, what would mean the most to them. The answer was that they wanted to feel like they were watching back a good memory.
Super 8 film was the perfect way to embody that. Nostalgic and imperfect and genuine in every form.
Wedding Night at Jenny Lake Lodge
The Jenny Lake Lodges are AMAZING in every way. A series of little cabins, they put you right in the heart of Grand Teton National Park. This means waking up to views of the peaks and the potential for wildlife out your front porch. When Jenny Lake Lodge heard that these two were eloping here, they surprised Meghan and Taylor with a gifted framed picture, an unexpected surprise that was so sweet. The rustic feel of the cabins is charming too! It is very quiet and a peaceful stay, as opposed to the hustling town of Jackson Hole. If I had no limitations and could choose anywhere to stay the night leading up to my own wedding, it would be here. They stayed in the Columbia Cabin and had their first look in the meadow outside their door.

Wedding Photos Around the Tetons
After the first look, we headed to a few of my favorite Teton locations for those epic views.
If I have one big tip for couples eloping in the Tetons, it is to not rush your timeline!! Let yourself run around the mountains, take things slow, and give yourself time to explore. If you have a midday ceremony, this also gives you the ability to have that nice soft sunset or sunrise lighting and add some variety to your photos and videos.

Elopement Ceremony at Schwabacher Landing
It was finally time for the elopement ceremony. Taylor and Meghan both had personal vows they read to each other, with many tears and sniffles. The only guests were a squirrel and a fox, and the rain held off until the ceremony was done.

Double Rainbow and Sunset
The night ended under a fiery sunset and a double rainbow – fitting for this special elopement and the most beautiful luck to start a marriage with.
