A collector of old cameras (because you can never have too many), I live my life as if it's one big nostalgia tour. I scrapbook, religiously take and collect Polaroids, edit to 80s music from my dad's highschool CD collection (any Depeche Mode fans??), and have an old Cherokee that I like to overland in during the summers! If I could describe my perfect weekend, it would have to be rock climbing and camping with my friends and spending our evenings cooking hamburgers by a lake. I think life deserves to be romanticized at every point, significant or not, because it will all mean something to you one day when it turns into just a story.
I grew up in Idaho with the most beautiful view of Teton sunrises from my front yard, and how I MISS it. My dad used to always take us camping out near the base, and our summer weekends would be filled with hiking and fishing (or failed attempts at that). These experiences shaped me to be passionate about the great outdoors, and I never could get enough of the mountains. When I was seven, I was gifted my first little point and shoot camera, and that thing never left my side until I got a beginners DSLR in 2018, which is when my passion for landscape photography got a firm grip on me.
It was ultimately this love for photographing mountains that started me on this grand adventure. When COVID hit, I had a few couples that followed my Teton landscape work want me to take them around the park to document their elopement. From there, the rest is history, and I've spent the past four years traveling around documenting the coolest stories and working as a full time Grand Teton elopement photographer.

I got married during COVID (wooo 2020) and had an extremely intimate wedding, with about sixteen people who were allowed to come total.
I come from two sides of a coin, one where it was my DREAM to elope in the Tetons, and the other side being the part of me that loves my big ol family (there are a LOT of us). I have eight younger siblings, lots of aunts and uncles, and many cousins, which meant a lot of heartfelt phone calls when we decided to still send it on getting married. And at the end of the day, it was beyond perfect for us to have an intimate wedding and I'd do it all over again. So when I get those emails from couples talking about their desire to have a small wedding, or those that decide to full send the elopement, I feel for you.
Whether it would be meaningful to have a low pressure day just the two of you, or if the thing you are going to treasure most about your wedding is being surrounded by the people that mean the most to you, it is all so valid. Your values will be mirrored in your photos, that is my job and forever mission.
