The real is what matters. I draw inspiration from home movies and am deeply inspired by films like Train Dreams and We Live In Time. You don't want a wedding video that doesn't feel like YOU, which is why every film is different in feeling and vibe.
If I am going to be honest, I never resonated with the traditional slo-mo wedding video style that was popular when I started in this industry. This is my attempt to break out of that and create films that take out the production of a fake moment being repeated over and over. My attempt (and to my great joy) and success in making something full of emotion and of the real stuff.
I use a mixture of Super 8 Film and digital video to document intimate celebrations that are rich with intention, emotion, and the people who matter most.
