Alaska is one of the most beautifully rugged places on earth to get married. After moving here from Florida a few years ago, M+C decided to get married in Juneau to bring their friends and family out to their home and experience Alaska for themselves. July was the month they chose for the swaths of wildflowers that take over the valleys. When talking to them about their hopes for their wedding photos and video, one of the big things for them was making sure that the beauty of Alaska was captured. They wanted to experience nature on their wedding, more than just pose for photos. With that in mind, we spent a lot of the day adventuring and running to different corners of Juneau.

In your own decision on whether or not to hire a videographer for your Alaska wedding, consider what it is you want to remember and what you are afraid to forget after the day is over. Candid laughs, real moments in moving frames, hugs and tears – video captures it better than photo. Having video from moments in my own life is one of the greatest treasures I own, which is why this is the industry I chose to go into.
